conferences and festivals
I speak at conferences for teachers, teacher-librarians, and librarians all across Canada and at book festivals, author festivals, and children's literature round tables.
I charge a fee and expenses.
school readings (junior, intermediate, senior)
A normal reading lasts one hour and includes an author talk and questions from the audience. The author talk tells where I get my ideas and how I develop them into stories. I will usually read from one or more of my books.
